Artists Dennis Blankenheim and Fran Doll offer elegant and comfortable handmade combs, barrettes, snoods and hair pics. These functional hairpieces are crafted out of a variety of metals including bronze, copper and nickel silver. All barrette backs are attached to the barrette so that you can't lose it. They can be adjusted by flexing the back to curve in for tightness or out for more room. Snoods are available in six different sizes and four designs to accommodate almost any amount of hair and come with two pics to hold it in place. Our philosophy is simple: It has to be comfortable, it has to look good and it has to work!
On this, our newly updated web site, we are offering many more types of jewelry and art work. From sterling silver hand worked chains and forged 14 K. gold swords, to dramatic copper and crystal suncatchers. From flowed metal masks, to custom-made gold wedding bands.
As with many artists, we get many of our best ideas and motivation from you, our customers. Nothing gives us greater satisfaction than responding artistically to your requests. And one of the biggest demands has been for Celtic designs. So we have included a whole page of designs, including Torcs, both plain and with animal heads, in a variety of metals, cape clasps, Celtic knot tail ties, barrettes and hair pics.
